Description

OverLay is a top-down action game featuring a unique UI-based mechanic, where the boss not only attacks the player's character but also actively disrupts the game's interface (overlay), creating a dynamic and challenging experience.

Story

In the far future, a devastating computer virus has taken over the world, corrupting everything in its path. You are a digital avatar, humanity’s last hope, sent to fight back. But this isn’t just any battle... The virus can manipulate reality itself, turning the game’s interface against you, projecting actual interface elements to obstruct your path. Adapt, survive, and fight through the chaos to defeat the virus once and for all!

Tips and Trick

1. All UI in the game are windows that that can be interacted and closed, including your own and the boss's health bars, so be careful with that.

2. Some of these "UI" might be "useful" for you

3. The game is best played in 16:9 screen resolution

4. Be careful of the "Close Game" button =)

5. On the title screen, maximize the window to start the game
